Job summary

McCarthy Stone is seeking a Mobile Care Assistant to travel between Chester and surrounding developments, providing personal care and domestic support to older homeowners in our purpose-built developments. A valid UK driving licence and access to your own car are essential, with travel expenses reimbursed at 43p per mile.

The role offers an hourly rate of £14.50, with an extra 30p per hour for evening shifts and a rota including mornings, evenings, and alternate weekends.

Qualifications

• Skills & Experience: previous care environment experience and Level 2 Health and Social Care preferred.
• Full training available for career changers; strong interpersonal skills, empathy and time management essential.
• Driving license required; access to own car and travel between developments.

Responsibilities

• Support Individual Homeowners: personalized care including daily activities, personal hygiene and medication assistance.
• Domestic: maintain communal areas, cleaning, shopping and household tasks.
• Social Support: assist with social activities, transport arrangements and appointments.
