Job summary

McCarthy Stone is seeking passionate Care Assistants for a mobile, field-based role supporting older homeowners across developments. You will perform personal care and domestic tasks, travel between sites, and help with daily activities, transport, and social engagement.

The role requires a valid UK driving licence and access to a car, with a base hourly rate of £14.50 plus 30p extra per hour for evenings. Flexible hours and weekend work are available on a rota basis.

Qualifications

• We require Health and Social Care Level 2; strong interpersonal skills and empathy are essential.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work in a field-based role that travels between developments.
• Willingness to travel; driving licence and access to own car are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and domestic support to homeowners.
• Assist with daily activities, medication reminders and personal hygiene.
• Support social activities, transport arrangements and appointments; maintain communal areas.
