Job summary

McCarthy & Stone Ltd seeks a Mobile Care Assistant to support older homeowners in Carlisle and surrounding areas. You will provide personal care, domestic tasks, and companionship, travelling between developments in your own car. A valid UK driving license and mileage reimbursement are essential.

The role includes early mornings, evenings, and alternate weekends on a rota, with mileage paid at 43p per mile and an hourly rate of £14.50 plus extra for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care environment preferred; full training provided.
• Strong interpersonal and time-management skills are essential.
• Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle required for travel between developments.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and domestic support to our homeowners.
• Maintain communal areas to a high standard and assist with household tasks.
