Job summary

FM Search & Select Ltd are recruiting an Area Cleaning Manager to oversee a portfolio of contracts across the East of Scotland, including Kirkcaldy. You will manage day-to-day operations across sites, lead cleaning teams, conduct audits, and ensure service standards meet contractual requirements.

The role is full-time, permanent and mobile, with a company car. Excellent communication, strong people leadership and the ability to analyse data will help you drive improvements and client

Qualifications

• Previous management experience within the commercial cleaning industry.
• Experience managing cleaning teams across multiple locations.
• Strong client-facing and relationship management skills.
• Experience carrying out site audits and quality inspections.
• Experience onboarding and managing employees.
• Strong communication and people-management skills.
• Good IT skills and confidence using data, reports and systems.
• Excellent organisation and the ability to manage a busy mobile workload.
• A proactive, hands-on approach to service delivery.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing cleaning services across multiple client sites throughout the East of Scotland

• Carrying out regular site visits, cleaning audits and quality inspections
• Monitoring service delivery and ensuring contractual standards are achieved
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
• Managing staffing levels, absence and performance across the portfolio
• Identifying and resolving operational issues quickly and effectively
• Producing reports and using data to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement
• Ensuring teams operate in line with company procedures and health & safety requirements
• Supporting recruitment and mobilisation of new employees where required

FM Search & Select are working with an established Facilities Management business who are looking to recruit an experienced Area Cleaning Manager to oversee a portfolio of contracts across the East of Scotland.

The Role

As Area Cleaning Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple sites and will act as a key point of contact for clients across your portfolio.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing cleaning services across multiple client sites throughout the East of Scotland
• Leading, supporting and developing cleaning teams
• Managing the onboarding and induction of new employees
• Carrying out regular site visits, cleaning audits and quality inspections
