Job summary

Bimplus in London is seeking a Mobile A/C Engineer to service and repair across South London commercial sites. You will work on splits, VRV/VRF, and VAV terminal units, ensuring efficient operation.

Role involves maintaining PPMs, fault-finding on VRV/VRF systems, and contributing to compliance with F-Gas regulations. On-call rotation applies, with a standby allowance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in A/C & Refrigeration with F-Gas Cat 1 (2079).
• Experience with VAV boxes, splits, and commercial A/C systems.
• Full UK driving licence and proximity to South London.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Servicing splits & multi-splits, leak checks, coil cleaning, and diagnostics.
• Balancing airflow and setting up VAV/damper controllers.
• PPMs, fault-finding, component replacement on VRV/VRF and AHU systems.
• Maintain F-Gas logs and compliance; join 1 in 5 call-out rota.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Mobile A/C Engineer to deliver maintenance and repairs across static commercial sites in South London. You will work extensively on splits, multi-splits, VRV/VRF systems, and VAV (Variable Air Volume) terminal units.

Key Responsibilities

• Splits & Multi-Splits: Routine servicing, filter changes, leak checks, coil cleaning, and compressor diagnostics.
• VAV Units: Airflow balancing, actuator/damper troubleshooting, controller setup, and reheater coil maintenance.
• Commercial A/C Equipment: PPMs, fault-finding, major component replacement, and reactive repairs on VRV/VRF systems and air handling plant.
• Compliance: Complete F-Gas logbooks, maintain compliance records, and join the 1 in 5 call-out rota.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2/3 in A/C & Refrigeration + valid F-Gas Category 1 (2079).
• Strong hands‑on experience with VAV boxes, splits, and commercial A/C systems.
• Full UK driving license and proximity to South London.
• Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
