Get Staff are recruiting an Air Conditioning Engineer for London & South East. This full‑time permanent role offers £40,000–£50,000 basic salary plus a company vehicle, laptop and phone; standard hours are 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday.

You will service splits, VRV/VRF and chillers, carry out reactive callouts, support installations and junior engineers, with a focus on quality and safety and fault finding. A full UK driving licence and F‑Gas Level 2 qualifications are essential.

Qualificações

• 5+ years' experience in air conditioning service and maintenance.
• F-Gas certified and Level 2 A/C & Refrigeration qualified.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with high standards and proactive attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out reactive callouts and repairs including pressure tests and compressor changes.
• Complete servicing of splits, VRV/VRF, chillers.
• Undertake installations.
• Attend and resolve reactive callouts promptly.
• Maintain routine servicing to ensure systems run efficiently.
• Interpret schematics/technical drawings for installation and repairs.
• Keep accurate service and FGAS records.
• Ensure safety standards and best practices.
• Support junior engineers/apprentices.
• Contribute to weekend callout rota.

Company Overview

Our client is a supportive and growing business looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their highly valued team on a full‑time permanent basis. The company values teamwork, quality service, and long‑term customer relationships.

Role and Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive callouts and repairs (pressure tests, compressor changes, fault finding, troubleshooting) – approx. 60% of role
• Complete servicing of splits, VRV/VRF, chillers – approx. 30% of role
• Undertake installations – approx. 10% of role
• Attend and resolve reactive callouts in a professional and timely manner
• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance to ensure systems run efficiently
• Interpret schematics/technical drawings to support installation and repairs
• Keep accurate service and FGAS records
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices
• Support junior engineers/apprentices where required
• Contribute to the 1-in-8 weekend callout rota

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience in A/C service & maintenance (Essential)
• F‑Gas certified & Level 2 A/C & Refrigeration qualified (Essential)
