Job summary

dormakaba in the Midlands seeks an experienced B2B salesperson to grow our Trade Counter Sales and manage an existing customer portfolio. You will secure new business opportunities while encouraging repeat orders to maximise success.

You will stay up to date with product and regulatory details, report sales activity, and work with internal teams to ensure a best-in-class service for customers while contributing to the area sales strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience in previous Sales and / or Technical roles.
• The ability to develop positive relationship with customers.
• Strong IT skills, with experience in using systems / reporting tools.
• Great communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of business customers in the Midlands (Hardware industry).
• Keep up to date with product and legislation details, and communicate them to customers and internal teams.
• Report sales figures, monthly activity, and sales pipelines to Management.
• Identify new product opportunities, research market trends and monitor competitor activity.
• Set the area sales strategy and work toward monthly KPI targets.
• Provide customers with technical help where necessary.
