KONE is looking for an Area Service Manager to lead a busy field service operation across Birmingham and the Midlands, including Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Wolverhampton, and Shrewsbury. You will manage a team of technicians, plan maintenance, and ensure safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, with a focus on cost control and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Experience in a field service or operational environment.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Good commercial awareness and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of field-based technicians.
• Plan and oversee maintenance, repairs, defects and callouts.
• Ensure planned maintenance is completed safely and on time.
• Run regular planning and performance calls with stakeholders.
• Manage customer queries and complaints through to resolution.
