Job summary

Jungheinrich Internal in Birmingham (Great Barr & Aston) seeks a Field Service Engineer to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on materials handling equipment. You will supervise site teams, manage workloads, and ensure service levels are met while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role involves inputting KPI data, identifying sales leads, and acting as a company ambassador. Willingness to work outside normal hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Mechanically and electrically biased engineers with maintenance/service background.
• Experience in customer-facing environments and able to work unsupervised.
• Full driving license and good level of education.

Responsibilities

• Repair and preventative maintenance of materials handling and ancillary equipment.
• Complete service reports and time sheets accurately.
• Supervise service site teams, plan workload and monitor performance.
• Maintain customer relationships and meet SLAs.
• Input KPI data and manage inventory procedures.
• Identify sales leads and act as company ambassador.
• Attend customer review meetings and drive continuous improvement.
