Job summary

Howden is recruiting a Client Adviser in Reading to manage a portfolio of mid-market and corporate clients. You will deliver exceptional service, renewals strategies and be part of a growing servicing team shaping the client experience.

Reporting to the Client Advisory Team Manager, you’ll build strong relationships with clients and insurers to support retention and growth. You may currently work as a Client Adviser or Account Handler and seek career progression within a business that values

Qualifications

• Experience supporting corporate or mid-market clients within the commercial insurance market.
• Strong technical knowledge across a range of commercial insurance classes.
• Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach with growth mindset.
• Progress towards or completion of Dip CII qualifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with mid-market and corporate clients.
• Develop and deliver renewal and placement strategies with insurer partners.
• Manage day-to-day servicing of client programmes and renewals.
• Contribute to market exercises and negotiations for appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate across the wider business to ensure a consistent service experience.
• Shape a high-performing, scalable servicing proposition for the practice.
