The Customer...

We have now partnered with a global Microsoft Security Solutions Partner + MISA Awards Finalist to build their Security Business Development and Account Management team in an exciting new strategy.

A global business and growing, they're a Microsoft first security business, additionally selling wider vendor services. Successfully Microsoft Managed, a MISA (Microsoft Intelligent Security Association) member awards finalist. They focus on the larger SMC sector and Enterprise across multiple industry verticals and now want motivated up and coming Security BDMs to support the journey.

Seeking those high performers already in a cybersecurity sales career, ideally managed security and/or PS consulting, who can introduce you to the right people at Microsoft to help your sales journey.

What is required:

  • An understanding and history selling MXDR, and professional security services / consulting. With all the tools and credibility you will need to succeed, this Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA) member and multiple awards finalist will give you customer IP products to build seller advantage, a global operation to sell, and incredible vendor relationships that see them led into customers directly.
  • You will need to be a motivated and experienced new logo seller. You may have sold multiple services but want to delve deeper into security. In return, you'll join a new team of multiple components that will now bring real capability to support you, including solid presales, MVP-level consulting allies, and customer-specific products.

Managed Security Services:

  • Managed XDR

Professional Security/Consulting Services:

  • Cloud Security, Defender for Cloud/Entra/Intune
  • Purview Compliance/Data Governance
  • Security Copilot
Responsibilities...
  • Lead the growth of business within new accounts.
  • Build relationships with prospective clients and vendors including Microsoft.
  • Create and manage sales pipeline across both security services, consulting, and presales.
  • Maintain consistent contact with existing clients.
  • Track varying metrics.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their security posture and identify solution and service opportunities.
  • Use expert knowledge to guide and advise customers on the most suitable security services and solutions.
Key Experience...
  • Experience in the full sales cycle, including deal closing and sales success.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Managed and/or Professional Security Services.
  • Understanding of the Microsoft Security stack and other vendors, including enterprise/SMC licensing models across MXDR, cloud, IAM, Purview, Copilot for Security.
  • Experience discussing prospective solutions with customers.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and successfully achieve sales targets for security services.
  • Experienced in selling MXDR / MDR services.
  • Security services/solutions into new customers, PS and/or MS.
  • Experience with Microsoft or wider security vendor services is of interest.
