Job summary
Mase Consulting Ltd in London is seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to support advanced microscopy systems across the Greater London area. You will calibrate, repair and maintain high-value instrumentation while delivering on-site and remote technical assistance.
The ideal candidate holds a Masters or PhD in Optics or Microscopy with hands-on microscopy experience. Degree holders with at least 1 year as a technician or service engineer on analytical instruments will be considered.
Qualifications
- Masters or PhD level in Optics or Microscopy with proven knowledge and hands-on microscopy experience.
- Willingness to operate autonomously and manage own schedule.
Responsibilities
- Calibrate, repair, service and maintain high-value microscopy equipment.
- Provide on-site customer support including installation and commissioning.
- Deliver remote maintenance, fault finding and diagnostic support to board level.
- Document service reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Develop technical expertise within assigned product category.
