You will undergo training, visit academic and research sites, perform calibration, repair, service, installation and remote maintenance, and develop product-category expertise. A UK driving licence is required; sponsorship is not offered.

The ideal candidate will be educated to Masters or PhD level with proven knowledge and experience within the area of Optics and Microscopy. Candidates should be a heavy microscopy user or possibly been involved in building and adding elements to increase microscope functionality.
Degree level candidates will be considered should they possess a minimum of 1 years' experience working as a technician or service engineer on analytical instruments.
Candidates must have an excellent work ethic and the ability to operate autonomously.
