Job summary

Mase Consulting Ltd is seeking a Microscopy Service Engineer / Technician in London for Masters or PhD educated candidates with hands-on microscopy experience to join a global microscopy equipment manufacturer.

You will undergo training, visit academic and research sites, perform calibration, repair, service, installation and remote maintenance, and develop product-category expertise. A UK driving licence is required; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD level in optics/microscopy with hands-on microscopy experience.
• Experience as a technician or service engineer on analytical instruments is advantageous.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide calibration, repair, servicing, and maintenance of microscopy equipment.
• Install and commission hardware and software at customer sites.
• Perform on-site and remote maintenance, fault finding, and reporting.
