Job summary

VRS Equipment Leasing Limited is seeking a confident Field Service Engineer or Technical Specialist to service, maintain and validate UV/Vis, FT-IR, AAS and ICP equipment at customer sites in the Southeast of England, including universities and laboratories.

Applicants with strong troubleshooting and maintenance experience from a laboratory career, or onsite instrument engineering background, are encouraged to apply. A highly competitive salary and benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing/repairing UV/Vis, FT-IR, ICP & AAS systems from multiple instrument vendors.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel regularly across the Southeast.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Open to onsite instrument engineers or analytical chemists with troubleshooting experience.

Job description

Exciting opportunity for a confident and ambitious Field Service Engineer or Technical Specialist to join a well-renowned Instrument manufacturer.

In this position you will be responsible for the service/maintenance and validation of UV/Vis, FT-IR, AAS & ICP instrumentation at customer sites in the Southeast of England, including commercial laboratories and universities.

To be suitable for this position, you will have the following:

• Experience servicing/repairing UV/Vis, FT-IR, ICP & AAS systems from a range of instrument vendors
• Full UK Driving License and ability to travel regularly across the Southeast
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
