Our client in the Newmarket area is hiring an experienced MET Technician / Strip Fitter to join a busy bodyshop. You will remove and refit parts, dismantle and rebuild vehicles, and report any unseen damage beyond the estimate promptly to ensure top-quality repairs.

This permanent role offers up to £24 per hour plus bonus, pension, and company benefits; ATA accreditation is a plus for applicants with advanced qualifications.

Qualifications

• Time served or qualified to City & Guilds/NVQ level in MET or related field.
• ATA qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Remove and refit parts to ensure high-standard body repairs.
• Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed by job sheets.
• Report unseen damage beyond the estimate as soon as identified.
• Maintain efficiency and apply close attention to detail.

Our client, a busy Accident Repair Centre in the Newmarket area, is looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced MET Technician / Strip Fitter.

Key MET Technician / Strip Fitter Roles and Responsibilities

• Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard
• Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed
• To report unseen damage, absent from estimate as soon as its identified
• Have a good level of efficiency and attention to detail
• Be able to work in a team and as an individual

Minimum Requirements as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter

• Time served and/or qualified to city & guilds or NVQ level
• Have Previous experience as an MET Technician
• ATA is advantageous
