Job summary

Holt Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced MET Technician/Strip Fitter for our Darlington area client, a busy bodyshop group. The role covers removal and refitting, dismantling/rebuilding, and reporting any unseen damage with core mechanical duties including GEO and diagnostics.

The ideal candidate has MET/Strip Fitter experience; ATA/NVQ is a bonus. Hybrid training and ADAS accreditation are advantageous. Benefits include a generous salary and progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Remove and refit parts to high standards
• Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed

• Perform 4 wheel alignment, suspension work, GEO, diagnostics and other mechanical tasks

MET Technician / Strip and Fit Vacancy:

Ref - 348020

Our client, who are a busy Bodyshop group are currently looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced MET Technician in their Darlington site.

Key MET Technician / Strip Fitter Roles and Responsibilities:

• Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard
• Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed
• To report unseen damage, absent from estimate as soon as its identified
• 4 wheel alignment, Suspension work, GEO, diagnostics and all mechanical work

Ideal Requirements as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter:

• Have Previous experience as an MET Technician / Strip Fitter
• ATA/NVQ is advantageous but not essential
• Hybrid Trained
• ADAS Accredited
