Job summary

Holt Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced MET Technician / Strip Fitter for a busy Bodyshop in the Luton area. You will remove and refit parts to high standards, dismantle and rebuild vehicles, and report unseen damage promptly.

You will work in a team or independently, with multiple shift patterns and a permanent position. Salary up to £24 per hour plus bonus, with pension and company benefits.

Qualifications

• Time served and/or qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ level.
• Previous experience as an MET Technician.
• ATA is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Remove and refit parts to ensure body repairs are to a high standard.
• Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed.
• Report unseen damage, not in the estimate, as soon as identified.
• Work with high efficiency and strong attention to detail.
• Able to work in a team and also independently.

Our client, a busy Bodyshop/Accident Repair Centre in the Luton area, is looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced MET Technician / Strip Fitter.

Key MET Technician / Strip Fitter Roles and Responsibilities:

• Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard
• Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed
• To report unseen damage, absent from estimate as soon as its identified
• Have a good level of efficiency and attention to detail
• Be able to work in a team and as an individual

Minimum Requirements as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter:

• Time served and/or qualified to city & guilds or NVQ level
• Have Previous experience as an MET Technician
• ATA is advantageous
