Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in stripping and fitting roles.
• Competence in removing and refitting vehicle panels and mechanical components.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and resetting vehicle control units.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a workshop environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a safe working attitude.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and support colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Remove damaged parts for repairs, ensuring proper storage and safety.
• Identify additional damage and order necessary parts with VDA.
• Ensure all parts are correct and available for the repair process.
• Refit vehicle panels while maintaining manufacturer tolerances.
• Replace mechanical components, including steering and drivetrain parts.
• Reset vehicle control units using diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain health and safety standards and attend safety training.
• Maintain tools and equipment as MET Technician.
• Support team activities and other duties as required.

Duties:

• Removal of damaged parts for repairs, ensuring proper storage and safety
• Identifying additional damage and ordering necessary parts in collaboration with the Vehicle Damage Assessor
• Ensuring all parts are correct and available for smooth repair process
• Refitting vehicle panels with care to maintain manufacturer tolerances and prevent damage
• Replacing mechanical components, including steering, drivetrain, and engine parts
• Resetting vehicle control units using diagnostic equipment
• Maintaining health and safety standards and attending regular safety training
• Ensuring tools and equipment are correctly maintained as theMET Technician
• Supporting team activities and other reasonable duties as required
