Clear Automotive is seeking a MET Technician to join their Croydon repair centre. The role focuses on stripping and refitting components, diagnostics, and ensuring manufacturer standards are met.

Ideal candidates have MET Technician, Strip Fitter, or Bodyshop experience, strong mechanical and electrical skills, and a commitment to high-quality repairs in a professional environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as MET Technician, Strip Fitter, or Bodyshop Mechanic
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills
• Ability to follow technical repair methods accurately
• Positive attitude and commitment to high-quality repairs

Responsibilities

• Remove and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components
• Strip and rebuild vehicles to manufacturer standards
• Dismantle accident-damaged vehicles for repair
• Carry out diagnostics, inspections, and fault-finding
• Complete steering, suspension, and wheel alignment work
• Order and fit replacement parts
• Reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition
• Ensure all repairs meet quality, safety, and manufacturer requirements
• Complete work efficiently within agreed repair times

Up to £58,000 OTE £68,000 +
