Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Epsom, Surrey seeks a skilled MET Technician for a full-time, permanent role in a reputable crash repair workshop. You will dismantle and refit mechanical and electrical components on accident-damaged vehicles per manufacturer specs, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

The role offers a salary of £50,000 to £55,000 plus a generous bonus scheme, flexible working hours, and a supportive team environment within a busy bodyshop.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship as MET Technician / Fitter preferred; qualified candidates advantageous but not required.
• Experience in a busy bodyshop environment is highly desirable.
• ATA accreditation is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismantling and refitting mechanical and electrical components on accident-damaged vehicles per manufacturer specs.
• Conduct fault-finding and diagnostic checks when needed.
• Ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Collaborate with the workshop team to meet productivity targets.
• Maintain high-quality repair standards to uphold the company’s reputation.

Requirements:

• Recognised apprenticeship as an MET Technician / Fitter preferred; experienced individuals without formal qualifications considered
• Previous experience in a busy bodyshop environment is highly desirable
• Strong team player with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
• Experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models
• ATA accreditation is advantageous, but full training and qualifications can be provided
