Job summary

Danny Sullivan & Sons Ltd in London is seeking an experienced Document Controller with an MEP background to manage and control project information across multiple stakeholders. You will handle drawings, technical submissions, RFIs and O&M information, maintain registers, issue documents to the right people and assure QA checks throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in document control within construction or building services.
• M&E/MEP experience is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of drawings, technical submissions and project documentation.
• Experience using EDMS platforms such as Viewpoint, 4Projects, Aconex, Asite, Procore, SharePoint or similar.

Responsibilities

• Manage project documentation and information through the relevant EDMS/document control system.
• Upload, distribute and maintain drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Maintain drawing registers, document registers and trackers.
• Manage incoming and outgoing transmittals.
• Monitor document status and ensure information is issued to the correct stakeholders.
• Coordinate technical submissions, RFIs and approvals.
• Carry out document QA checks.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, designers, consultants and subcontractors.
• Chase outstanding documentation and actions.
• Maintain project filing structures and ensure information is easily accessible.
• Assist with O&M manuals and project handover documentation.
• Produce document control reports when required.
• Ensure project information is managed in accordance with client and company procedures.
