Qualifications

JOB TYPES: Full-time

SHIFT PATTERNS:

  • 12 hour shifts
  • Day shifts
  • Night shifts

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Full UK Manual Driving License (Required)
  • Enhanced DBS certificate within the last 3 years (preferred)

This role involves transporting patients safely and respectfully, with opportunities to use trained techniques for safety when necessary. The satisfaction comes from playing a vital part in patients' crises.

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE:

  • Valid UK Manual Driving License with minimum 12 months driving experience
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and demonstrate resilience
  • Effective team player
  • Excellent attention to detail

Applicants must disclose any past police record, with consideration of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

Role: Full-time, 42.1 hours, on a 4-on 4-off shift pattern, alternating days and nights.

Note: Working hours may change with notice; flexibility is required.

Remuneration from 1st May: £12.91/hour (blended rate), with annual pay starting around £28,280.10, plus overtime and shift enhancements.
