Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for Parc Lodge in Bridgend, South Wales. You will support adults with mental health needs, assist with daily routines, and promote independence through activities and life skills. Full training is provided, and drivers with flexibility to cover days and nights are preferred.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required with willingness to work days and nights.
• No prior care sector experience needed as full training, coaching and development are provided.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day support and routine for residents at Parc Lodge.
• Promoting independence and enabling a fulfilling life for residents.
• Support the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Assist with healthcare needs, attend routine appointments and administer medications.
• Teach life skills like budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
• Assist with personal care as required and with domestic tasks such as cleaning and cooking.
• Provide guidance and emotional support to residents.

About Parc Lodge

Parc Lodge is a specialist residential service in Bridgend, South Wales supporting up to 10 adults with a range of mental health needs.

The service also supports individuals with secondary diagnoses such as learning disabilities, autism and physical health needs, alongside those with forensic histories, with a clear focus on rehabilitation and progression towards more independent living.

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
• Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.

Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development
