Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Support Worker for Bryn Irfon in Llanwrtyd Wells. The role involves day-to-day support for adults with learning disabilities, promoting independence, and assisting with health care needs, personal care, and daily activities.

You will work 35 hours per week, with flexible days, nights and sleep-in shifts as required. A full UK manual driving license is essential for this role.

£14.05 - £14.75* per hour

At Bryn Irfon we provide residential support for 8 adults with Learning Disabilities, challenging needs and individuals with communication difficulties. We can also support people who may have Mental Health needs. We work with people with varied abilities and needs. We encourage and motivate each person to feel good about themselves. We enable people to gain confidence and do the things that are important to them and ultimately to lead happy and fulfilled lives.

As a Support Worker, You Will Be Involved In The Day-to-day Support And Routine Of The People Within The Service Including

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
• Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
