Job summary

Parc Lodge is a specialist residential service in Bridgend, South Wales supporting up to 10 adults with mental health needs. We are looking for a Mental Health Support Worker to join our team, working 35 hours per week at a rate of £13.45–£14.15 per hour.

A Full UK Driving Licence and flexibility to work days and nights are required. You will provide day-to-day support, encourage independence, assist with health care needs and daily living tasks, and help residents with hobbies and routines.

Package Description JOB ROLE: Mental Health Support Worker LOCATION: Bridgend CF31 4DA SALARY: £13.45 - £14.15 PER HOUR HOURS: 35hrs a week REQUIREMENTS: Full UK Drivers Licence and flexible to work days and nights About Parc Lodge Parc Lodge is a specialist residential service in Bridgend, South Wales supporting up to 10 adults with a range of mental health needs.

The service also supports individuals with secondary diagnoses such as learning disabilities, autism and physical health needs, alongside those with forensic histories, with a clear focus on rehabilitation and progression towards more independent living.

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including: Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.

Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.

Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.

Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.

Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.

Assisting with personal care as required.

Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.

Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.

Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development
