Job summary

Parc Lodge in Bridgend, South Wales, operated by Keys Group, is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist residents with daily routines and personal care. You will support independence through engaging activities and help with health, budgeting, and daily living skills in a caring environment.

No care sector experience is required as full training, coaching and development are provided. A flexible approach to day and night shifts is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to cover day and night shifts as required.
• Experience within the care sector is not required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and routine for people in the service.
• Encourage independence and help residents live fulfilling lives.
• Support development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Assist with health care needs, including appointments and medication administration.
• Teach life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
• Assist with personal care as required.
• Help with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
• Provide guidance and emotional support.

About Parc Lodge

Parc Lodge is a specialist residential service in Bridgend, South Wales supporting up to 10 adults with a range of mental health needs.

The service also supports individuals with secondary diagnoses such as learning disabilities, autism and physical health needs, alongside those with forensic histories, with a clear focus on rehabilitation and progression towards more independent living.

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
• Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.

Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development
