Job summary
Care in Mind is recruiting a Mental Health Waking Night Support Worker (Driver) in Bromborough. This part-time post offers 33 hours per week, with 22 hours available, and requires a full UK manual driving licence to drive the service car unsupervised.
The role involves night shifts 8:30pm–7:30am, weekends, some bank holidays, and training days. You will support young people aged 16–30 with mental health needs, monitor wellbeing, record information, and participate in medication administration
Qualifications
- Flexibility to work night shifts including weekends and bank holidays
- Full UK Driving Licence - Manual only
- Attend training during employment on weekdays
- Good written skills and the ability to write basic reports
- Basic IT skills and ability to use an online care system and write emails
- Good verbal communication and listening skills
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries
- Calm under pressure to support others
Responsibilities
- Night shifts including weekends and bank holidays
- Possess a full UK manual driving licence and drive service car unsupervised
- Attend training on weekdays during employment
- Write basic reports and record information accurately
- Complete medication administration and update care records
- Provide effective handovers to day staff
- Maintain a tidy, homely environment in the home
- Support young people with wellbeing, education and life skills
