You will update online records, assist with medication administration, and provide effective handovers. Full training is provided; prior care experience is not essential, with on-call support available.

Responsibilities

• Interact with and support the wellbeing, education, household tasks and life skills of young people during night shifts.
• Update online care records and administer medications as required, with thorough handovers to day staff.
• Maintain a tidy, homely environment within the Southfield House home and ensure safety during the night.
• Manage incidents and de-escalate challenging behaviours with the support of other night staff and on-call manager.
