Job summary

Superb People Ltd in London is seeking a Senior Volunteer Engagement Specialist on a full-time fixed-term contract for 6 months, with potential conversion to a permanent role. The position is hybrid, with three days in the office near Liverpool Street and the remainder from home, 9.30am–5.30pm, Monday to Friday, plus occasional evening commitments for events.

You will administer the volunteer recruitment process from enquiry to exit, support matching and vetting, manage onboarding, and maintain

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating volunteer programs or similar recruitment processes.
• Ability to onboard and train volunteers effectively.
• Proficient in compiling reports and analysing volunteer data.
• Strong communication with volunteers, staff and partner groups.

Responsibilities

• Work with volunteers and staff to advertise volunteer roles ensuring the volunteer recruitment process is correctly followed.
• Support the matching of volunteers with roles and the vetting process while liaising closely with volunteer groups and staff leads
• Manage the onboarding process for new volunteers
• Manage volunteer data and update reports on key metrics

Reports to: Location: Senior Volunteer Engagement Specialist

Hybrid; 3 days per week in the office, remainder from home

Office: near Liverpool Street station

Contract: Full-time on a Fixed Term Contract for 6 months, with possibility of conversion to

a permanent contract

Hours: 9.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (some additional hours needed for event

delivery and evening committee meetings)
