Role Responsibility
  • Supervise the Meetings and Events department in executing daily business.
  • Assist with training and developing non-matchday and matchday staff.
  • Maintain Meetings and Events standards.
  • Ensure all areas of the Meetings and Events facility are maintained to an exceptional standard of cleanliness and appearance.
  • Ensure the preparation of all function areas, quality of service, and hygiene standards within the catering facility conform to company standards.
  • Ensure all Meetings and Events functions are set correctly and standards are maintained at the highest level.
  • Complete preparatory work for all events in a timely manner.
  • Be fully aware of the specifics of individual functions, such as arrival times, refreshment break times, food service times, and bar closing times.
  • Have thorough knowledge of dishes served within the Meetings & Events facility and be able to provide feedback or information to customers with questions.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience supervising in a large operation with high-volume meetings and events business.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to recruit, train, manage, and motivate staff.
  • Experience working front of house, with various concepts and service styles.
  • Experience within sports and leisure/stadia environments.
  • IOSH Managing Safely qualification or equivalent.
  • Food Safety Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
