Medical Secretary
Location: The Ulster Hospital, Dundonald
Salary: £12.31 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
Contract: Temporary (6 Months on-going)

MPA Recruitment is delighted to be working alongside the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust to recruit a Medical Secretary to provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support in a hospital setting.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a professional with excellent typing, administrative, and organisational skills to become an essential part of the hospital's clinical and administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide full secretarial support, including word processing and audio typing of letters, reports, and documents.
  • Maintain diaries, arrange meetings, and take accurate minutes.
  • Handle correspondence and general enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Use Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other systems to manage records and communications.
  • Support the team with filing, photocopying, and maintaining administrative systems.
Essential Criteria:
  • 4 GCSEs
  • 1 years’ relevant admin/secretarial experience.
  • RSA/OCR Stage II Text Processing
