Job summary

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an administrative and roster-support specialist to manage resident doctor and consultant rosters within the Babies, Children’s & Young People’s (BCYP) Division at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospital.

You will work with the Assistant Service Manager, Service Manager and Divisional Medical Co-ordinator to ensure safe staffing, control costs, and provide high‑quality clinical support.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating medical staffing or rotas is desirable.
• Ability to arrange meetings, take minutes and support procurement processes.
• Competent in data requests and maintaining stakeholder correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimise resident doctor and consultant rosters within the BCYP Division.
• Act as central contact for sickness absences and rota changes with departments.
• Maintain weekly roster reviews, ensuring safe staffing and min spend on locums.
• Provide administrative support including meeting arrangements, minutes and data requests.
