The world's largest helicopter manufacturer and the UK's premier civil helicopter hub located at Oxford Airport, is seeking skilled Non-Licensed Mechanical Technicians to join their dynamic team! They possess the resources and expertise to provide the training and support necessary for the right candidate to embark on the journey to becoming a helicopter engineer. They invite talented competent technicians up to this challenge from automotive and other technical vocations to apply.

As a Mechanical Technician, you'll be working under the supervision of Licensed Aircraft Engineers on some of the best helicopters in the world.

  • Replacement and installation of mechanical and electrical components as per maintenance schedules and repair requirements.
  • While not certifying work, you will support licensed engineers and technicians in the completion of inspections and repairs.
  • Work closely with licensed engineers, fitters, and other team members to ensure the smooth operation of aircraft maintenance tasks.

Desirable: Experience within aviation.

Knowledge & Skills: You must have a BTEC / NVQ L2 engineering qualification or equivalent. Proven ability to work with technical instructions. We will be looking for technicians that can apply those instructions safely, efficiently and effectively.
