ISQ Recruitment is seeking Mechanical / Electrical assembly technician for an innovative and forward-thinking company based in Norfolk. In this hands‑on role, you'll be responsible for assembling mechanical components, following detailed instructions and working closely with experienced team members. You'll use a variety of tools and equipment in a safety‑conscious environment, contributing to high‑quality, precision‑built products.

The Role :

The main purpose of this role is to assemble mechanical / electrical sub‑systems and components, working as part of a close‑knit team of technicians within the workshop. You'll follow detailed electronic build manuals created by the business to ensure all work meets the required specifications and standards. Maintaining a safe and organised working environment is essential, with strict adherence to Health & Safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Operate tooling or other machines.
  • Highly motivated.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, as part of a team or on your own.
  • Knowledge of a range of hand / power tools for example: drill press, bench and hand grinders digital measuring tools, torque wrench, tap and die's, punches, pipe benders.
  • Ability to work to a high level of accuracy with good attention to detail.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, but who obtains assistance when required.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety and PPE.
What We're Looking For :
  • Experience with mechanical builds and or maintenance on a variety of platforms from factory machinery, road vehicles & aircraft.
  • Hold a valid UK drivers Licence.
  • Physical fitness is required as the role involves lifting and manual handling and operation of power tools and equipment.
