Position: Mechanical Technician

Location: Cambridgeshire

Salary: £28,000 to £35,000 + Excellent Benefits / Prospects

The Company

Our Client, an innovative dynamic passionate manufactures minimal invasive next-generation robotic-assisted medical devices that are at the forefront of how surgical procedures are carried out. An award-winning company that plans to significantly disrupt the way surgery is performed for the benefit of millions of patients all around the world.

Responsibilities
  • Play a key role in testing and validating new electromechanical system designs. Carry out hands-on verification and exploratory testing, run formal test protocols, record results, and identify issues across system and subsystem levels.
  • Work with tools such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, force gauges, and hand tools, ensuring every test is precise, accurate, and fully documented.
Qualifications
  • HNC/HND or Time Served with relevant experience
  • Experience of the manual testing of complex devices and/or systems (ideally in a regulated environment)
  • Experience of using a wide range of measurement and electronic tools (e.g. bench power supplies, multi-meters, oscilloscopes, thermocouples)
  • Experience of management / maintenance of test and measurement equipment
  • Experience in a manual test capacity with complex products
  • You will be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills both written and oral, be computer literate, and able to work as part of a team.
