Curve Recruitment is representing a reputable regional M&E contractor recruiting a Mechanical Project Manager in Cambridge. The role involves leading project delivery, coordinating drawings, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.

You will read technical drawings, manage budgets, liaise with clients and teams, and drive project success. SMSTS/CSCS and mechanical qualifications preferred; strong leadership and planning required.

Formación

• SMSTS and CSCS cards with a relevant mechanical qualification.
• Proven track record managing mechanical projects.
• Experience with Building Services Contractors at a similar level.
• Broad knowledge of mechanical systems and installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Understanding of design processes and procurement.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve good financial returns on projects.
• Strong people management and motivation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent planning, coordination, and prioritisation skills.
• Results-oriented with driving project outcomes.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget through effective planning.
• Manage materials, direct labour, subcontractors, procurement, and drawings schedule.
• Liaise with clients, supply chain, delivery teams and senior management.
• Oversee financial management and procurement for projects.
• Monitor project programme and planning; attend meetings.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and safe working practices.
