Job summary

Michael Taylor Search & Selection is seeking a Project Manager for a Cambridge-based, large scale construction project. You will lead day-to-day management across design, procurement, installation, logistics, and commissioning within a multi-disciplinary team.

You will ensure design and construction processes are compliant and add value by challenging methods to improve buildability, lifecycle costs, and programme delivery. A formal SMSTS and proven leadership track record are required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large scale MEP contracts.
• Formally accredited H&S training, minimum SMSTS.
• Proven track record leading teams and projects.

Responsibilities

Salary: Upto £80,000 + Company Car or £5040 Allowance + 6%/9% Pension + Healthcare + 28 Days Holiday (+ Bank Holidays) + Benefits

Our team are looking for a Project Managers to join the team in Cambridge.

You will be responsible for the project, effectively and professionally lead the day-to-day management, within a large scale multi-disciplinary commercial project, the specific scope discipline including, design, procurement, installation, logistics, compliance, commissioning, and project handover, within the building construction team.

What you'll do:

• Ensure full compliance of design, engineering, construction, and commissioning processes.
• Add value to the design process by challenging solutions, methods, and techniques where appropriate to deliver works within the contract programme, improve build ability and reduce whole life costs and carbon.
• Develop and administer controls on the project or workplace and ensures full implementation and compliance.
• Ensure lessons learnt are captured and shared with the wider business for consideration on future projects.
• Understand/ develop/ scrutinise/ deliver/ monitor end to end programme. Responsible for creating Plan Bs in relation to specific package responsibility.

What you'll bring to the role:

• Appropriate knowledge and experience to manage multiple disciplines/interfaces and work sequencing.
• Proven track record in successfully delivering within a team large scale MEP contract.
• Formal H&S training accreditations, minimum SMSTS
• Proven track record in leading teams and projects
