Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is looking for a Night Shift Engineer to cover a commercial campus near Barbican. The role pays £52,000 per year (including shift allowance) with excellent benefits and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified (C&G or NVQ) and will perform M&E maintenance, manage sub-contractors, and attend client meetings as required. 4 nights on and 4 off, 19:00–07:00, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Mechanically qualified with City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3.
• Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Multi-skilled and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of M&E maintenance.
• Lighting—installation, fault-finding and maintenance.
• Emergency lighting tests and air handling unit maintenance.
• Water treatment and plumbing tasks; manage BMS monitoring.

Night Shift Engineer - Client Direct - Commercial Campus - Excellent Benefits - Barbican - £52,000

Exciting opportunity to work at a commercial campus situated by in Whitechapel. CBW are currently recruiting for a Night Shift Engineer to cover a commercial campus.

The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified (C&G or NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This is an ongoing permanent role and pays a yearly salary of £52,000 (including shift allowance) + excellent benefits based on qualifications and experience, inclusive of shift allowance.

He or she will be required to carry out mechanical maintenance to the following:

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of M&E maintenance


• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel, Power distribution)


• Emergency lighting tests


• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)


• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)


• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets


• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)


• Escort / organise sub contractors


• Attend client meetings if required


• Ensure site log books are kept up to date

Hours of work

• 4nights on, 4 off


• 19:00pm - 07:00am
