Job summary
Severn Trent Plc is seeking a Non Infra Senior Technician to join the Waste Water Recycling team around Finham, Coventry. You will support site operations, maintain water treatment assets, and coordinate with contractors on a standby rota totaling 37 hours per week.
The role requires hands-on experience in water treatment, maintenance, electrical or instrumentation work, plus a full UK driving license. Strong IT and leadership skills are essential, with a focus on safety, quality, and cost
Qualifications
- Experience in water treatment and water supply operations.
- Maintenance, electrical or instrumentation work in the water sector.
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
Responsibilities
- Support Team Manager in day-to-day operations.
- Organise site access for third party work and contractors.
- Coordinate chemical deliveries, audits and services.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Improve asset availability and ensure safe practices.
- Manage customer issues in the area.
- Provide cover for the Team Manager when needed.
