Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer for a hospital site near Woking, Surrey. This Monday–Friday role covers on-site mechanical and basic electrical tasks, with no on-call requirements.

You will work within the FM service provider's maintenance team, carrying out PPM and reactive tasks across pumps, HVAC components, water treatment, BMS monitoring, and fabric maintenance to keep the facility running efficiently.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and plumbing qualified (C&G, NVQ etc) required.
• Proven track record in Building Maintenance.
• Good Communication Skills.
• Multi-Skilled - Mechanical / Electrical.
• Knowledge of UPS / Generators / Power Distribution / HVAC / HV LV
• Good Leadership & Management skills

Responsibilities

• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Chillers - Re-set
• Water Treatment - Temperature checks
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replace taps etc
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
• UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings
• Emergency light testing
• Basic Electrical duties
• General fabric duties/making good

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - FM Service Provider – Monday to Friday - Woking, Surrey £41,500

A fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated on a hospital site near Woking, Surrey. The successful candidate will be Mechanically biased (NVQ or C&G) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working with the maintenance team on-site, He or she will be required to carry out Mechanical and some minor electrical and fabric maintenance . This is a Monday - Friday role working 08:00 - 17:00

The package will include:
