Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a days-based role in Newton-le-Willows with a salary of £40,000 - £45,000. The engineer will focus on mechanical fault finding, breakdown repairs and conducting planned and reactive maintenance on heavy manufacturing equipment.

• Strong mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial, manufacturing or processing environment.

Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Newton-le-Willows

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Shift: Days

I'm working with a growing manufacturer looking to recruit a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.

You'll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across heavy manufacturing machinery, focusing on mechanical fault finding, breakdowns, repairs, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings and conveyors.

You'll also support machinery upgrades, installations and continuous improvement projects to improve reliability and minimise downtime.
