Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in Newton-le-Willows for a growing manufacturer. You will manage planned and reactive maintenance across heavy manufacturing machinery, with a focus on mechanical fault finding, breakdown repairs, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings and conveyors.

You will support machinery upgrades, installations and continuous improvement projects to improve reliability and minimise downtime.

Competenze

• Strong mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Mechanical fault-finding and breakdown repair skills.
• Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Engineering qualification in a relevant mechanical discipline.

MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Newton-le-Willows

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Shift: Days

I'm working with a growing manufacturer looking to recruit a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.

You'll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across heavy manufacturing machinery, focusing on mechanical fault finding, breakdowns, repairs, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings and conveyors.

You’ll also support machinery upgrades, installations and continuous improvement projects to improve reliability and minimise downtime.
