Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a Newton-le-Willows site. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on heavy manufacturing machinery, focusing on mechanical fault finding, breakdown repairs, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes and conveyors.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial environment.

• Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on heavy manufacturing machinery.
• Fault-finding and repair of mechanical faults to minimise downtime.

I'm working with a growing manufacturer looking to recruit a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. You'll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across heavy manufacturing machinery, focusing on mechanical fault finding, breakdowns, repairs, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings and conveyors. You'll also support machinery upgrades, installations and continuous improvement projects to improve reliability and minimise downtime. Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Strong mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial, manufacturing or processing environment.


• Mechanical fault-finding and breakdown repair skills.

• Experience in manufacturing, processing plants or industrial settings.
