Job summary

PRS is seeking a multi skilled Mechanical & Plumbing Maintenance Engineer in Harrogate to cover a large estate. The role involves general mechanical and plumbing tasks, plant room duties, basic HVAC and compliance work.

This permanent position offers a circa £40,000 basic salary, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, days. You should have a Mechanical Engineer or commercial plumber qualification, experience with plant rooms and AHUs, and a valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical plant.
• Maintain plant room, pumps and valves.
• Plumbing maintenance and basic AHU upkeep.
• Compliance checks including water temperatures and related tasks.
• Small works installation and emergency repairs.
• Ad-hoc maintenance tasks as required.

We are recruiting for a multi skilled plumbing and mechancial maintenance engineer based in the Harrogate area covering the maintenance of a large scale estate. The role will involve general mechanical aspects of building maintenance including plant room, basic plumbing, HVAC and compliance etc.
The role is a permanent position paying circa £40,000 basic. Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, days

Mechanical & Plumbing Maintenance Engineer Duties:

Completing PPM and reactive maintenance to:

• Mechanical Plant room
• Pumps and valves
• Plumbing maintenance
• Basic AHU/fan coil upkeep
• Checks and compliance duties including water/tap temps etc.
• Small works installation
• Emergency repairs
• All ad- hoc maintenance tasks

Requirements:

• A qualified Mechanical Engineer or Commercial grade plumber
• Experience of plant room, AHU’s, FCU’s etc.
• Previous PPM and reactive maintenance experience
• Excellent client facing skills
• Valid driving license
• Willingness to complete fabric and plumbing tasks
• Willing and able to pass a security check
