Job summary

PRS is recruiting a multi-skilled Mechanical Building Maintenance Engineer in Harrogate to maintain a large estate. The role covers plant room, basic plumbing, HVAC and compliance, with steady permanent employment.

Work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, basic around £40,000, and a valid driving license is required. Security checks may be required. PRS is an equal opportunities employer.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mechanical Engineer or Commercial grade plumber
• Experience with plant room, AHUs, FCUs
• PPM and reactive maintenance experience
• Excellent client facing skills
• Valid driving license
• Willingness to complete security check

Responsibilities

• Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical plant room equipment
• Maintain pumps and valves
• Carry out plumbing maintenance
• Basic AHU/fan coil upkeep
• Ensure water temps and compliance checks
• Handle small works installation and emergency repairs
• Respond to ad-hoc maintenance tasks

Position: Mechanical Building Maintenance Engineer

Type: Permanent

Basic: circa £40,000

Location: Harrogate

We are recruiting for a multi skilled maintenance engineer based in the Harrogate area covering the maintenance of a large scale estate. The role will involve general mechanical aspects of building maintenance including plant room, basic plumbing, HVAC and compliance etc.

The role is a permanent position paying circa £40,000 basic. Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, days

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Duties:

• Completing PPM and reactive maintenance to:
• Mechanical Plant room
• Pumps and valves
• Plumbing maintenance
• Basic AHU/fan coil upkeep
• Checks and compliance duties including water/tap temps etc.
• Small works installation
• Emergency repairs
• All ad- hoc maintenance tasks

Requirements:

• A qualified Mechanical Engineer or Commercial grade plumber
• Experience of plant room, AHU's, FCU's etc.
• Previous PPM and reactive maintenance experience
• Excellent client facing skills
• Valid driving license
• Willingness to complete fabric and plumbing tasks
• Willing and able to pass a security check
