Wallace Hind Selection is seeking an experienced Mechanical Service Engineer for a Field Service/Service Engineer track based from Coventry. The role combines reactive maintenance with scheduled servicing in a global manufacturing environment.

You will train within a year-long programme, including a spell in France, with long-term career development in Europe and worldwide upon completion.

Qualifications

• Experienced Service Engineer with a mechanical maintenance background.
• Knowledge of industrial capital equipment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop for a full Field Service Engineering career within a large organisation.
• Role split 80% reactive maintenance and 20% scheduled work; initial calls guarantee within 24 hours.
• Schedule and perform servicing, maintenance, training, and inductions to help customers optimise equipment.
