Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection LTD is seeking a Mechanical Service Engineer based at our Coventry site. A year-long training programme, including a spell staying in France, will set you up for a full career in Field Service Engineering within a large multinational organisation.

The role entails 80% reactive work and 20% scheduled visits to client sites, with development into maintenance, fault finding, and customer training across OEM and end-user bases.

Qualifications

• Experienced Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer from industrial capital equipment.
• Qualified Mechanical Engineer (ONC, HNC or HND+).
• Strong mechanical understanding with excellent inter-personal skills.

Responsibilities

• Split role: 80% reactive, 20% scheduled work.
• Initial phone triage with follow-up visits for repair or fault finding.
• Scheduled work includes servicing/maintenance and educating customers on best use.
