Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection LTD is recruiting a Mechanical Service Engineer to join our Coventry operation. The role includes a year-long training programme, with a spell in France, designed to develop you into a Field Service Engineer with a world-class manufacturer of precision components.

You will split time between reactive calls and scheduled maintenance, building hands-on expertise while expanding your commercial and customer-facing skills within a large multi-million pound organisation.

Qualifications

• Experienced in mechanical field service or maintenance for industrial capital equipment.
• Qualified Mechanical Engineer (ONC, HNC or HND) with strong inter-personal skills.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop within the role and field.
• Handle 80% reactive and 20% scheduled maintenance work.
• Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment.
• Educate customers to optimize equipment usage and pre-empt issues
