Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking a Mechanical Service Engineer based around Coventry to join a worldwide manufacturer of precision engineered components. The role includes a year-long training programme, with a spell in France, leading to a full career in Field Service within a multimillion pound organisation.

The job is split 80% reactive and 20% scheduled work, with initial calls guaranteed within 24 hours and extensive on-site training to develop your skills across OEM and end-user bases.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Engineer in industrial capital equipment is required.
• Qualified Mechanical Engineer (ONC, HNC or HND+) with strong inter-personal skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair, fault finding or performance review on site.
• Training customers on how to get the best use of equipment.
• Maintenance and servicing of industrial capital equipment.
• Develop skills to take over future mechanical service engineering activities.
